7th Steering Committee Meeting of the Technical Support Project for Improving Air Quality and Raising Public Awareness in Cities in Turkey was held online on 6 November 2020 with 21 participants.
21 people from 8 institutions, including EU Delegation to Turkey, MoEU General Directorate of European Union and Foreign Relations as the Contracting Authority, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate of European Union, representative of the consortium leader AESA, global experts of consortium partners CITEPA, INERIS and PUCK, beneficiaries and technical assistance team, attended the meeting chaired by Pervin DOĞAN, Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, Air Management Department, Air Quality Assessment Branch Manager. During the meeting, the Team Leader gave information about the activities carried out during the sixth four-month implementation period of the project, ongoing activities, and the activities to be carried out in the following four-month period. In addition to the current situation analysis, what the beneficiaries expect from technical support projects, and contributions for the achievement of the CityAir Project, and road maps were determined. Stakeholders specified the fields they requested to be implemented in order to increase their capacities within the scope of the project, conveyed their expectations about the trainings to be held and the contents of the activities to be carried out.
