Within the scope of the CityAir Project implemented by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization to improve air qualities of 31 provinces in Turkey, the Air Quality Emission Inventory Workshop was held online between 7-9 September, with the participation of officials responsible for air quality management from Isparta, Afyonkarahisar, Aksaray, Antalya, Burdur, Karaman, Kayseri, Konya, Nevşehir and Niğde.
In the workshop attended by officials from Isparta, Afyonkarahisar, Aksaray, Antalya, Burdur, Karaman, Kayseri, Konya, Nevşehir, and Niğde provinces, municipalities, and relevant stakeholder institutions were provided to improve their technical knowledge and administrative capacities related to air pollution. During the air quality workshop held online between 7 and 9 September due to pandemic limitations, the current situation and future planning details regarding the air quality of the provinces were discussed. During the three-day training, the development stages of the provincial emission inventory, basic principles and objectives, and modeling were discussed in detail.
